The Audio2000'S® APA9230 professional power amplifier is specifically designed and developed for project recording and live applications. With friendly and professional features, the APA9230 allows any user at various application levels to fully utilize its extensive power.

All three of the balanced XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS and unbalanced RCA input jacks are utilized while the 1/4" jacks and the banana (binding post) jacks are used for the speaker outputs. Furthermore, there are Signal, Peak, and Protection LED indicators for indicating various operation conditions. The Signal LED indicators are used to indicate the presence of input audio signals.  The Peak LED indicators are used to indicate that the output signals are within 3dB from being clipped. Occasional blinking of the Peak LED indicators is acceptable.  However, if they remain on for more than just blinking, the level control of the power amplifier needs to be turned down or the output level of the preceding component needs to be reduced to avoid audible distortion. The Protection LED indicators are used to indicate that the power amplifier is overheated, overloaded, shorted or DC offset is detected in the power amplifier outputs.  When any of the Protection LED indicators is on, the power amplifier needs to be turned off and the output's connection needs to be checked for any problem.  The power amplifier will reset itself after the problem is corrected.

A stereo headphone monitor jack is on the front panel of the power amplifier for monitoring.  The speaker on/off switch on the front panel can be utilized to turn off the main speakers for private amplifier output monitoring via the headphone monitor jack.

In addition,  the Stereo / Mono-Bridge select switch allows the users to utilize the power amplifier as a stereo one or a bridged mono power amplifier.   There are also numerous built-in performance features such as built-in signal current and signal voltage limiters, and soft-start power-on.

The extraordinary features of quality sound with extremely low distortion, versatile performances and function, and rugged/delicate appearance make the APA9230 professional power amplifier an outstanding value in any critical project recording or live applications.
